To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what estimate she has made of the number of burglaries that go unreported in England and Wales each year; and if she will make a statement. (198190)

The British Crime Survey (BCS) routinely collects information on whether or not crimes are reported to the police and this is presented in the annual Home Office Statistical Bulletin Crime in England and Wales, copies of which can be found in the House of Commons Library.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what estimate her Department has made of the number of unreported burglaries and break-ins in the last year for which figures are available; and if she will make a statement. (200547)
