To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what the annual research budget for (a) his Department, (b) Arts Council England, (c) Sport England, (d) the Big Lottery Fund, (e) English Heritage, (f) the Heritage Lottery Fund and (g) the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council was in each of the last three years; and how much he expects each to spend on research in 2008-09.
