Departmental Surveys

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what the cost of conducting staff surveys was for (a) his Department, (b) Arts Council England, (c) Sport England, (d) the Big Lottery Fund, (e) English Heritage, (f) the Heritage Lottery Fund and (g) the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council in each of the last three years; and how much he expects each to spend on such surveys in 2008-09. The annual cost of staff surveys for the Department and the named organisations (as provided by those organisations) in each of the last three years, and planned spend for 2008-09, are set out in the table. All figures include VAT. The figures include the costs of the main staff survey and do not include ad hoc requests for information.
