Rented Housing: Fees and Charges

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what restrictions are imposed on annual increases in service charges charged to domestic tenants by local authorities; and if she will make a statement. (211353)

Local authorities are free to decide their own levels of service charge increases, as service charges are a matter for the local authority in its capacity as landlord and are dictated by local conditions.
