In March 2007 I announced that the overall public sector Olympics funding package was £9.325 billion and that budget is unchanged. The costs of delivering the venues and infrastructure in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games will not exceed that budget.

LOCOG are responsible for staging the Games, which is being funded by the private sector.
