Key communications staff for the entire civil service are listed in The White Book, published by the Central Office of Information. This is available in the Library of the House and contains a listing for Members of the Department's Communications Directorate. The book is updated twice yearly.

Information on some agencies and non-departmental bodies is also held in the White Book. Other data is not held centrally and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.
