To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what change there has been in the number of (a) women, (b) black and minority ethnic people and (c) people with disabilities holding senior Civil Service posts since 1997. (223727)

The following table sets out the changes in numbers of senior civil servants between 1997 and 2007 (the date for which latest figures are available).
