To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many teaching days were lost to sickness absence in Yorkshire and the Humber in each of the last five years; and if he will make a statement. (223809)

The number of teaching days taken as sickness absence in Yorkshire and the Humber in each of the last five calendar years is shown in the following table.
