To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many meetings he has had with officials of the Irish Government since May 2007; and what topics were discussed at each such meeting. (227641)

Since his appointment, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland has had no such meetings. The right hon. Member for Kilmarnock and Loudoun (Des Browne) met with Irish Government officials on a number of occasions while carrying out his dual role as Secretary of State for Defence and Secretary of State for Scotland.
