The information requested is not available. Hospital episode statistics (HES) do not have classifications by the wide terms of trauma classified as psychological, medical, injury, wound or shock. HES can provide data based on the International Classification of Diseases and related Health Problems tenth Revision (ICD10) diagnoses codes. HES can also provide data on procedures or interventions performed on the patient while in hospital, these would be based on the Office of National Statistics Classification of Interventions and Procedures codings.
