The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has made no assessment of the absence of an additional access road for Canvey Island on the area’s regeneration. Regeneration priorities on Canvey Island are for Castle Point borough council to propose in the first instance, as are any assessments of infrastructure requirements.
