Females: Crimes of Violence

To ask the Minister for Women and Equality how many complaints have been made to police forces about violence against women in the last five years, broken down by (a) parliamentary constituency and (b) police force. (227214)

Violence against women includes crimes such as rape, domestic violence, forced marriage, sexual exploitation and trafficking, and I refer the hon. Gentleman to the answer for question 2272115 November 2008, Official Report, column 556W. The following table provides a breakdown by police force area for recorded offences of rape of a female for the last five years.
