To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what consideration has been given to including local authority representatives on the Regional Economic Council. (236104)

Local authorities are represented at the Regional Economic Council through representatives nominated by the Local Government Association.

Local government representatives were invited from all nine regions for the first meeting as well as the leader of the Local Government Association, Margaret Eaton.
