Local government in Scotland and Wales is the responsibility of the relevant devolved administration. The Welsh Local Government Association attended a meeting that the Economic Secretary to the Treasury and I had with LGA leaders on 15 October. Dr. Brian Gibbons, Welsh Assembly Minister, and Wayne David, Wales Office, also attended. The Department has not received any other representations.
