In accordance with Section 10 of the Intelligence Services Act 1994, I have appointed the right hon. Member for North-East Fife (Sir Menzies Campbell CBE QC) as a member of the Intelligence and Security Committee in place of the right hon. Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed (Sir Alan Beith). The appointment follows appropriate consultation and reflects the recommendation of the House.
