To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will release into the public domain the 1,949 files his Department holds relating to Englandspiel, with specific reference to files detailing the responses given to the Dutch governments, redacting names as necessary. The vast majority of files relating to Englandspiel are already in the public domain at The National Archives. There are a small number of papers that are currently retained on national security grounds. These papers are re-reviewed on a regular basis.
