To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when the Professional Skills for Government Competency Framework will be rolled out to all grades below the senior civil service across the whole of his Department. (241984)

[holding answer 9 December 2008]: The Department for Transport competency framework for employees in pay bands 1-7 has already been developed following wide consultation with colleagues and representative groups from across the Department, including the agencies.

The core framework have been placed in the Libraries of the House.
