Prisoners On Remand

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many prisoners are on remand in prisons in England and Wales, broken down by (a) offence and (b) sex. (243260)

The following table gives figures for all prison establishments in England and Wales showing numbers on remand by (a) offence and (b) sex at end October 2008.
