The number of persons proceeded against at magistrates courts, found guilty, and issued with a level two fine (over £200 and up to and including £500) at all courts for offences relating to the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 S12, in England and Wales, from 2003 to 2007 can be viewed in the following table.
Additionally, 1,544 individuals received a penalty notice for disorder (PND) for this offence in 2007. In 2006, the figure was 1,061, in 2005 the figure was 712, and in 2004, 485 individuals received a PND for this offence.
