Entry Clearances: Business

Volume 485: debated on Tuesday 16 December 2008

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether there is a limit on the number of times a person can be granted entry to the UK for six months as a business visitor. (241611)

There is no restriction on the number of business visits a person may make to the UK, or any requirement that a specified time must elapse between successive visits. The fact that a person has made a series of visits with only brief intervals between them would not, in the absence of any other relevant factors, constitute sufficient grounds for refusal of leave to enter.
