Our assessment of the cost and policy implications of meeting the UK share of the EU 2020 renewable energy target was set out in our consultation document, which was published in June 2008, and can be accessed at

We are updating this analysis as part of the development of the Renewable Energy Strategy, which we will publish in spring 2009.
