To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what measures he has put in place for the provision of humanitarian aid to the population of North Korea; what discussions he has had with the North Korean government on the implementation of that strategy; and what representations he has made to the United Nations on this matter. We have not put any measures in place to provide humanitarian aid to North Korea. We continue to monitor the situation and are aware of the joint FAO and World Food programme report issued on 8 December.
