To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the value is of departmental equipment (a) lost and (b) stolen in each of the last five years, broken down by service. (245112)

The information requested is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost. The value of assets lost or stolen is included, with a range of other types of losses, in the summary of losses and special payments published in the MOD’s annual report and accounts.
