To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people were on waiting lists for NHS treatment in (a) England, (b) the North East, (c) Tees Valley district and (d) Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland constituency in each year since 1997. (244897)

2. Figures only available by PCT and HA.

3. Figures for Tees HA from 2003 are the sum of the PCTS in existence at that time.

4. PCT boundary changes in October 2006 affects figures for Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland PCTs.
