The UK notes that Turkey has not implemented its obligations under the Ankara agreement protocol. Turkey needs to meet all its obligations under the accession process, including on the Ankara protocol, and we regularly urge them to do so as soon as possible. The UK continues to be a strong supporter of Turkey's EU accession process.
