Alcohol Disorder Zones

Volume 486: debated on Thursday 15 January 2009

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much the Government have spent on advertising costs and producing information material on alcohol disorder zones. (243322)

The Home Office has spent a total of £9,985 producing the “Alcohol Disorder Zones: A short Guide to Setting up and Managing ADZs”. This includes the editing and proof reading costs as well as the cost of printing hard copies of the guidance. No advertising costs have been incurred in respect of ADZs.

No direct costs were incurred in respect of the original version of the ADZ guidance produced earlier in 2008. The original guidance was produced by a small number of officials who have worked on this policy area, in addition to other duties. It is not possible to quantify the cost or the time that has been spent working and consulting on this policy area.
