To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the timetable is for the deployment of the remaining 174 Mastiffs to Iraq and Afghanistan; and if he will make a statement. (246217)

The delivery of the 174 remaining Mastiffs is expected to take place between spring and autumn 2009. Not all of these vehicles will be deployed on operations since some will be retained in a training pool.
