15. To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what assessment he has made of the process for making single farm payments in 2008; and if he will make a statement. (247642)

Continued improvements in its systems and processes have enabled the Rural Payments Agency to make good progress towards its 2008 single payment scheme targets. Latest figures show that just under £1.1 billion (67.4 per cent.) has been paid to 84,039 claimants (78.9 per cent.)
