The Convergence Think Tank was launched by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform on 21 December 2007. It was superseded by the Digital Britain project, announced by my noble Friend Lord Carter of Barnes on 17 October 2008.
