To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform what the (a) total and (b) staffing cost of the Caio Review was. (247434)

[holding answer 14 January 2009]: The total cost of the Caio Review was approximately £119,500 for the six month period of the review; and includes staffing costs totalling approximately £113,000.

The Government will be responding to the review in due course.
