Tax Credit: Telephone Services

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many calls have been received by the hon. Members’ tax credit helpline in each month since it was established.

Letter of correction from Angela Eagle:

An error has been identified in the written answer given to the hon. Member for Cardiff, Central (Jenny Willott) on 10 December 2008. The figures given in the table were incorrect. The correct answer should have been: (241465)

For the number of calls answered each month by the Tax Credit Office MP Hotline up to and including May 2007, I refer the hon. Member to the answer that the then Paymaster-General, my right hon. Friend the Member for Bristol, South (Dawn Primarolo) gave the hon. Member for Yeovil (Mr. Laws) on 25 June 2007, Official Report, column 419W.
