Sick Leave: Musculoskeletal Disorders

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what estimate has been made of the number of working days lost due to musculoskeletal conditions in the last three years. (249270)

The estimated number of working days lost in 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08, taken by people who believed that they were suffering from a work-related musculoskeletal disorder, are given in the following table:
