To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what meetings he has attended with Mr. Speaker on the arrest of my hon. Friend the Member for Ashford (Damian Green) and the search of his office; what was discussed; if he will place in the Library a copy of records held by his Department of such meetings; and whether he has received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 from the hon. Member for North Essex for this information. (250887)

I have not attended any meetings with Mr Speaker on the arrest of the hon. Member for Ashford (Damian Green). On 16 January 2009 my Department received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 from the hon. Member for North Essex (Mr. Jenkin) for this information which will be dealt with in the statutory deadline of 20 working days.
