GCSE: Children in Care

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what percentage of young people in year 11 who had spent at least one year in care gained five or more GCSEs graded A* to C in the most recent year for which figures are available. (251782)

The information requested shows that in 2007 (the most recent year) that 12.6 per cent. of young people in year 11 who had spent at least one year in care gained five or more GCSEs graded A* to C.
