To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many applications for British naturalisation there were from people resident in Northern Ireland in 2007; and how many were successful. (253275)

There were 485 naturalisation applications from people who submitted their applications to the Northern Ireland Local Authority in 2007. Of this number received, 450 have been approved.
