Hospitals: Malnutrition

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made of the incidence of malnutrition among (a) all hospital patients and (b) hospital patients aged 65 years and over. (256262)

The following table indicates the counts of admissions into hospital where there was a primary or secondary diagnosis of malnutrition for 2006-07 for all patients and those aged over and under 65. This is the only form that the data are available.
