To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many pupils at non-selective schools in selective areas have exceeded the national average of achieving five A* to C GCSEs in the last five years; and how many pupils at each such school achieved at least five GCSEs at A* to C grades in each year. To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families in how many schools fewer than 50 per cent. of pupils achieved five GCSEs at grades A* to C including English and mathematics in 2008. (251101)
