Pupil Referral Units

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of pupils who attended pupil referral units were (a) eligible for free school meals and (b) had statements of special educational needs in each year since 1997. (257660)

The requested information is provided in the following table.
