To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport when he plans to undertake a public consultation on exemptions from licensing requirements for low-risk live music performances. (256545)

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is currently exploring options to exempt low impact licensing activities, including small scale live music, from the scope of the Licensing Act 2003. No decision has yet been taken on timing of the consultation that would be necessary in respect of any proposals.
