Volume 488: debated on Monday 2 March 2009

To ask the Leader of the House if she will bring forward proposals to encourage hon. Members to use interactive digital technology to communicate with their constituents. (259036)

It is up to individual hon. Members how best to engage with their constituents, using interactive digital technology as well as other means. Hon. Members may use the Communication Allowance to meet the cost of designing and running a website which is intended to inform constituents of their work as a Member, to consult with constituents or local groups, or to provide contact information.

I would be interested to hear of any specific examples of good practice in this area.
