The Government advise against the use of sunbeds for cosmetic purposes, particularly by minors, including the use of unsupervised or coin-operated sunbeds. The Cancer Reform Strategy commits the Government to reviewing options for possible regulation of the sunbed industry, but firstly to gather information to inform the review. This is currently under way.
