To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what impact assessment his Department has undertaken of options for changes to the system of age classification for video games. (261467)

A preliminary impact assessment of the options for change was published with the video games classification consultation in August 2008. This can be viewed using the following link:

In the meantime work is being done to develop the evidence further on the impact of the various options. A final impact assessment will be published as soon as a decision has been made.
