Defence Intelligence Staff: Manpower

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many staff the Defence Intelligence Staff employed in each year since 1997, broken down by (a) civilian staff and (b) service; and what the projected numbers for the next five years are. (257680)

I refer the hon. Member to my answer on 9 February 2009, Official Report, column 1528W. I should point out that the answer contained an error for April 2007. The correct figure is provided in the following table.
