Member for Brentwood and Ongar of 14 January 2008, Official Report, column 869W, on waste disposal: domestic waste, to what use the funding committed to support waste incentive pilot schemes will now be put. No authorities have so far expressed an interest in using the powers in the Climate Change Act to pilot a waste reduction scheme. We are therefore considering how the funding earmarked for the pilots could best be focused, in line with departmental priorities.
