To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how many Criminal Records Bureau checks there were of teachers recruited to work in Muslim schools in 2008; (262887)

(2) how many Criminal Records Bureau checks there were on (a) paid and (b) volunteer staff recruited to work in mosques in England and Wales in 2008.
