To ask the Secretary of State for Health when he expects to conclude the negotiations for the renewal of the protocol between his Department and the Welsh Assembly Government on commissioning for cross-border patients. (267528)

The Government intend to renew the protocol for commissioning cross-border health services with the Welsh Assembly Government by 1 April 2009.
