East Cambridgeshire district council’s housing stock was subject to a large scale voluntary transfer to a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) on 31 March 1993. They do not therefore operate a housing revenue account. It is currently estimated that South Cambridgeshire need to make negative housing revenue account subsidy payments of £11,851,560 for 2008-09.
Communities and Local Government does not collect data on the number of households in social housing, but the level of social housing stock in each council’s area is shown in the following table:
