Although sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) are primarily resourced at a local level in order to ensure sustainability, the Government have supported the establishment and development of the SARC network through a series of grants since 2003-04.

Based on the best available information, the approximated total of grants awarded to sexual assault referral centres since 2003-04 is set out in the following table.
