Special Educational Needs: Disadvantaged

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of pupils in each decile of income deprivation affecting children indices had statements of special educational needs in (a) Essex, (b) Southend, (c) Thurrock and (d) Castle Point in each of the last five years. (267442)

The requested information for the years 2004 and 2008 is given in the following tables.

Information for each of the last five years can be provided only at disproportionate cost.
