Motability is an independent charitable company and is responsible for the administration of the Motability scheme. As Motability provides many vehicle adaptations free of charge and the cost of others are met by a combination of the customers’ own contribution and financial assistance from the scheme, it is not practical for Motability to produce a single average cost figure of vehicle adaptations.
